GRAPHICS CARD REVIEW OF THE WEEK
RV740 GPU from ATI is a derivative from the RV770 core. The new gpu runs at 750MHz and has GDDR5 memory clocked at 800MHZ. This numbers give this card a memory bandwidth of 51.2 GB/s. Radeon HD 4770 is a 128-bit graphics card. The reviewed model from ASUS is almost entirely based on AMD's reference design, but uses a custom two-slot aluminium heatsink that makes this card fairly quiet one. The EAH4770 is PCI Express 2.0 x16 card, packed with 512MB of GDDR5 memory. This model has the usual list of supported features: ATI CrossfireX, HDCP, DX10.1, SM4.1, and Unified Video Decoder 2 for HD content decoding.
