Albatron was founded in 1984 under the name Chun Yun Electronics. It was mainly concentrated on producing wide-screen multimedia monitors, TVs, plasma displays and rear projection systems. In 2002 company changes name into Albatron and becomes worldwide known brand. Albatron graphics cards are based on NVIDIA technology.

There were some rumors that NVIDIA was cuting down the partner list and that Albatron was on that list, but new graphics cards like GTX260 and GTX280 deny that rumor.
